‘Herewith I offer you, dear reader, the first collection of my instrumental concerti mingling the serious and the gay with most excellent harmony, thus entitled, for they contain not only the vivacity and gracefulness of ballet airs in imitation of the late Monsr. Lully in all their purity, but also certain grave affects in the Italian manner and diverse jocular musical ideas (in Italian Scherzi), as well as a mixture of a diligent interminging of the large Choir [Concerto grosso] and the simple Trio [Concertino].’

This title was released for the first time in 1996.
