Graham Ross
Biography
Graham Ross is Director of Music and Fellow of Clare College, Cambridge, and Principal Conductor/co-founder of The Dmitri Ensemble. Conductor of a very broad range of repertoire, his own compositions have been heard in many countries. He has conducted The Dmitri Ensemble in several première recordings, most recently of works by Imogen Holst (harmonia mundi).
He studied music at Clare College, Cambridge and conducting at the Royal College of Music, London. He guestconducts ensembles and orchestras across the UK and abroad. In 2010 he made his BBC Proms and Glyndebourne débuts. Other opera work has taken him to Jerusalem, London, Aldeburgh and Provence. He holds a special relationship with Aalborg Symfoniorkester, Denmark, where he has appeared many times as guest conductor.
